Teacher Training Program

Creating Inclusive School & Community Yoga Classes

Upon finishing the BSW4ALL Adapted Yoga Teacher Training, you'll be equipped with the confidence to lead yoga sessions in special education classrooms, inclusive community programs, virtual classes, and provide one-on-one guidance for students with physical and cognitive disabilities.

This program enhances your understanding of common traits in Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, paralysis disorders, and sensory impairments. The course content is conveniently pre-recorded, allowing you to progress at your own pace.

You'll have access to recorded lectures, downloadable videos, printable class materials, visual supports, real-time demonstrations, and valuable teaching field experiences, generously shared with permission.

Jodi’s online teacher training for best self-wellness gave a very clear and most importantly applicable foundation in teaching yoga to people with disabilities. I have previously taken specialized trainings for teaching individuals with special needs, and I must say that Jodi's has been the most in-depth. She gives very clear and concise information on specific conditions and how to teach to meet the client's needs. Previous to taking this training I had over 700 hours in specialized courses that were yoga alliance approved. I felt that Jodi's training gave in-depth insight on how to handle different situations that could arise while teaching clients. If you’re interested in teaching populations with special needs this training is a must! To this day I still have not found something as applicable!

Many 'ah ha' moments!

Especially around providing choices and creating a safe and supportive classroom space for all students.

Jodi devotes her instruction to those with special needs and I absolutely adore the education that I have received from this training.
